Eagle's Journey to 1,000 Customers

We've just hit the incredible milestone of one thousand Eagle customers. It has been so rewarding working and supporting all of you, and we're looking forward to more improvements and exciting changes to share.  Here is a quick story of where we came from and our journey so far.

Where We Came From

From humble beginnings in 2014 working around our backyard tables, the Eagle Software team has come along way from where it once was!

The Eagle Vision

Our initial vision became a mission when we noticed a gap in the market where real estate technology was lagging behind other industries.  The systems real estate agents were using were stagnant in their development and cumbersome to use.  We felt we could do better! 

The first and earliest version of Eagle Software looked very different from what we have today. At the time, there were only four tabs in the software, and that included settings!

Our First Customer

Our very first customer was Grantham Real Estate, a Melbourne-based start up agency who decided to make the jump and sign with us in 2014.

Grantham Real Estate has grown with us on our journey, and has since expanded to two offices.  We are thrilled to work with them since the very beginning and share in their success.

Team and Product Growth

By 2016, our product had improved immensely and we hit the first milestone of 100 customers. Our lean team of four had expanded to ten, and we moved into our first office, which was shared with a car dealership, but we were excited nonetheless with big changes on the horizon!

The implementation of automation was a game changer for Eagle. Automation allowed us to better service our clients, and bring that missing element of innovative technology to the real estate industry. Even today, automation, innovation and pushing the boundaries of real estate technology is a major point of difference for Eagle Software and one we are all proud of.  It helps real estate agents free up time to focus on what matters most, getting in front of people.

In 2017, we launched our first version of the mobile app, and relocated to a new office (without having to share with a car dealership!).

From this new office, we developed many of new features you now see in our current technology. 2017 also saw the continuation of our KFC days, which are a big part of the company culture here at Eagle!  

Changes to the Eagle Product Offering 

The Eagle Software product offering has changed immensely since our initial launch to market in 2014. Since then, we have implemented a number of different automations which have significantly improved our product, but also the user experience for our customers.

We have also developed a range of products including:

  • Sales CRM
  • Mobile apps
  • Real Estate websites for agents and agencies
  • Marketing software
  • Sales trust accounting
  • Leasing tool
  • Facebook app

We are incredibly proud to be offering the scope of services that we bring to our 1,000 customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Eagle Today

In 2021, Eagle joined The PropTech Group, becoming part of the leading PropTech provider in Australia and New Zealand, with more than 40% of agents using one of more PropTech Group product.

Today, Eagle Software has a growing team of 25 and shares an office in Melbourne with the team from PropTech Group.

Our 1000th Customer

We are grateful to have achieved the massive milestone of 1,000 customers.

The most recent addition to those enjoying Eagle Software, and our 1000th customer is Richardson & Wrench - Auburn. We are honoured to service a family-based real estate agency, which has been a trusted name in both real estate and Auburn since the early 1990's.
